Onesys' Chairman of the Board, John Koivukangas, M.D., has been elected as President of the Scandinavian Neurosurgical Society. The 58th Annual Meeting was held in Copenhagen, Denmark, where Professor Koivukangas presented his scientific results.

Philips acquires Onesys Navigator upgrade
One of Onesys' early customers, Philips acquired the standalone version of the Onesys Navigator, which has now been upgraded as Onesys released its client-server version. "We were impressed with the ability of the Onesys Navigator to simplify as part of the electronic medical record the documentation and presentation of huge amounts of MRI images generated in the management of patients, especially those undergoing surgery in the intraoperative MRI suite" says Managing Director Teppo Jyrkkiö, Philips Medical Systems Finland.

Onesys Navigator Client-Server version launched
Onesys released the Client-Server version of the Onesys Navigator product. The ON Client-Server version helps health care professionals to share and track patient information inside the hospital network. This allows enhanced co-operation between different clinics and colleagues.
Integration to the hospital's different sources of patient information is easily made with the Onesys Navigator, since it can be easily interfaced to virtually any electronic medical record and/or PACS.
